Does anyone live in outer space?

A recent converstation with Hailey went something like this... Mommy, does anyone live out there, in outer space? Yes, Hailey, a few people live in a space ship in outer space. How did they get to the space ship? They took a rocket. Mommy, do they sleep on the space ship? Yes, they sleep on the space ship. Well, who will drive the space ship when they are sleeping!? Well Hailey, it can drive itself. Oh, that's a good thing, says Hailey.... and off she goes to play. Where this came from... who knows but it was pretty cute.

Chad had last week off and I took 3 days off. We managed to finish up most of the Christmas shopping except for a few small things that Chad will pick up this week. Dad was down Sunday - Tuesday and back again with Mom on Thursday to help Chad work on the tile in the basement. All the brown tile in the shower in up and the floor tile are in. The plumbing is done with the exception of putting the toilet on (but that has to wait until the tile are done). Chad needs to grout and once the speciality tile come in on Monday or Tuesday, he'll have to finish up the shower tiling. Carpet will be next once the grouting is completed. For any of you who do their own home improvement projects, I am sure you can appreciate that it always seems to take 3 times as long as you expect it to. Thanks to Dad and Mom for all their help.

This week should involve wrapping presents, cleaning the house and grocery shopping. Got the finish up the Christmas cards tonight and mail tomorrow. Where in the world has December gone?! Sure have enjoyed the Christmas cards from everyone. It is fun to see how the kids are growing so fast.
