My Sunday Evening

Hailey to mom:
5:10 - Ear really itches.
5:15 - Ear hurts.
5:20 - Ear hurts and complete meltdown.
5:30 - Drive to Urgent Care
5:35 - Urgent Care has move to a new location, drive to new location
5:45 - Wait 45mins, see Dr.
6:30 - Ear infection, get lecture from Dr about the dangers of ruining antibotics due to overuse and she recommends letting resolve itself before filling Rx
6:35 - Ignore Dr's lecture, drive to Target
6:40 - Target pharmacy closed
6:45 - Call Chad to learn our normal Walgreen pharmacy is closed, Walmart pharmacy is closed
6:55 - Chad finds Walgreen Phamacy in Champlin is open until 10pm. Hailey is crying, my low fuel warning comes on in the car.
7:00 - Get gas, let Hailey pick out treat out of pure sympathy. She picks Whoppers but still crying.
7:10 - Drop of Hailey at home, give her motrin, leave for Walgreens.
7:25 - Get to Walgreens and realize that lecturing doctor has put the wrong name label on Rx
7:30 - Call Urgent Care, get lecturing doctor on phone to verbally authorize the Rx.
7:45 - Phamacy extremely busy, Phamacists states my Rx is ready but tells me that the ear drops will be $137.00 and the antibiotics will be $17.00.
7:47 - Say no thanks to the drops and pick up some extra motrin.
8:15 - Home. Work through meltdown due to "icky terrible" pink medicine. Bribe her with Gatorade and Whoppers.
8:30 - Takes medicine. Not as bad as she thought but the "Gatorade really helped".
8:50 - Hailey in bed.
8:55 - Only 9.5 more days of medicine(and Gatorade and Whoppers). I think I might have a drink.
9:10 - Going to bed.

$137 ear drops???? Were they laced with gold? Sounds like a rough night, Hopester... I'll try to catch you this week sometime. Hope the little princess feels better quickly.
